“Raise before Risk” Collecting information of Vulnerable Children through Mapping

The above training was conducted on 29^th and 30^th November and 1^st December, 2022. On the first day, all participants of the Puttalam district were given basic knowledge on developing a database on vulnerable children.

On the second and third days, knowledge of its practical application was given to the participants and was carried out in the Uchchamuni Island, Kalpitiya Divisional Secretariat division.

The participants were divided into 3 groups, and the survey was conducted in an area containing around 175 families. The third programme on data analysis will be conducted on 15.12.2022, and it is expected to take action in relation to the vulnerable children identified through this joint approach.

This programme is a jointly conducted by the Department of Probation and Child Care Services and the World Vision. World Vision funds the programme.
