Prevention of children from drug abuse

A preliminary discussion on the “Prevention of children from drug abuse” was held at the Alcohol and Drug Information Center (ADIC) on 23.01.2023 and was arranged on a request made by Mr. Namal Liyanage, Commissioner, Department of Probation and Child Care Services,. The Commissioner, officers of the Department, Director of the Alcohol and Drug Information Center, Mr. Sampath de Seram and the officers of ADIC were present at the discussion.

It was decided to develop an Action Plan to prevent children from being targets of this menace and will be implemented in collaboration with the Alcohol and Drug Information Center.
