Task Force on Alternative Care

The meeting of the task force relevant to the implementation of the National Policy on Alternative Care was held with the leadership of the Additional Secretary of Women, Children’s Affairs and Social Empowerment, on 15.11.2023.

Many members including Mr Namal Liyanage, the Commissioner of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services, all the Provincial Probation Commissioners, the Chief of Child Protection of UNICEF, Ms Miranda Armstrong, including the National Director of SERI Institution were participated in this occasion.
