CRICKET CATCH UP programme

Cricketer Mr Sachin Tendulkar is working as the South Asian Regional Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF since the year 2013.

At the “CRICKET CATCH UP”program held in Colombo, Cricketer Mr Sachin Tendulkar shared his life experiences with 10 children of children’s clubs of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services. These children also had an opportunity to play cricket with him briefly.

The 10 children who joined from the children’s clubs from the Districts of Ampara, Anuradhapura, Ratnapura, Badulla, Puttalam and Matara including the Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services were also participated in this special occasion.

The program was coordinated by UNICEF and the Department of Probation and Child Care Services.
