Research and Training Center, established by the Department of Probation and Child Care Services conducts training sessions for the officers recruited by the department and also for the officers engaged in the Provincial Probation Service. This center has facilities to conduct trainings for around 50 participants at a time and to provide accommodation as well.
Conducting research on identified current issues related to child rights and child care is another objective of this center.
The center is operated by an Officer-in-charge of the center under the total supervision of the Commissioner of Probation and Child Care Services.
