Digital Story Telling - National Programe

The Department of Probation and Child Care Services and UNICEF have jointly organized a series of training programs on “Digital Story Telling” at the provincial level for 270 children including children with special needs, to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to socialize the messages and activities relevant to protect child rights using mobile phones and communication devices.

The resource contribution for this program is provided by Sri Lanka Development Journalists Association (SDJF).

The very first program of this series was held at the Samudi Reception Hall, Ratnapura District, Sabaragamuwa Province on the 23^rd 24^th and 25^th of June 2023.

A group including the District Secretary of Ratnapura District, Wasantha Gunaratne, Commissioner of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services Mr Namal Liyanage and Assistant Commissioner (Technical) Ms Sandareka Liyanage participated in the opening session of this program.
