Capacity Enhancement Program (Phase II) of Children’s Clubs/Councils in the Digital Story Telling Program
A training program was conducted at the provincial level by the Department of Probation and Child Care Services jointly with UNICEF, to provide knowledge and skills necessary in socializing the messages and activities relevant to secure child rights using mobile phones and communication apparatus.
Children produced videos creatively using the knowledge received from that program and those were evaluated.
A Four-day residential training program for the children who presented the optimum creations out of the videos produced in this way, was commenced on 22.01.2024 at Sathyodaya Educational Institute, Kandy.
Financial support for this program was provided by UNICEF and resourcefulness was received from the SDJF Institution.
This workshop will be held till 25.01.2024.
