Confirmation of children\'s right to education in Uchchamuni village

A special discussion with the Archbishop of Chilaw was held on 28.03.2023 at 9.00 a.m. at Archbishop’s residence as per the request of the Commissioner, Mr Namal Liyanage of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services, for getting the support of the nuns and voluntary teachers for providing education to children, as a remedy for the teacher shortage, with the objective of ensuring right to education of the children of the Uchchamuni Roman Catholic School, Kalpitiya.
