Workshop on National Child Consultation

This workshop organized with the objective of receiving the views of children of our country for drafting the7th Periodic Report relevant to the Child Rights Convention of Sri Lanka, was conducted on 09.06.2023 at the ‘Ape Gama “premises, Battaramulla.

One Hundred (100) Children representing various fields (children of children’s clubs, leaders of children’s councils, children representing international schools, children with special needs etc.) participated in this workshop.

Mr Ranjan Wettasinghe of Save the Children organization assisted in obtaining views of children. Financial sponsorship was provided by the Leeds Institution and this workshop ended up successfully.
